Shantou Customs analyzed that in 2022, the foreign trade in eastern Guangdong will mainly present four characteristics: market procurement and e-commerce export growth are outstanding; private enterprises' imports and exports have maintained growth, and imports and exports to ASEAN and the EU have achieved stable growth; cultural products exports have achieved two The export of toys has increased significantly; the import of liquefied petroleum gas has increased by more than 60%, and the import of agricultural products has increased significantly.
 
Shantou Customs stated that in 2023, the customs will continue to promote the optimization of the port business environment, promote the implementation of measures to maintain stability and improve quality in the customs area, cultivate and strengthen the export competitiveness of key and characteristic industries in eastern Guangdong, and promote cross-border e-commerce, overseas warehouses, The development of new formats such as market procurement.
